Isobel took maternity leave from her part-time job as a sub-editor when her second daughter, Amy, was born on July 15, 2007. She lives in Surrey with her partner, Graham, and their toddler daughter, Mia.
Baby shower  
Mia's friends Charlotte and Gemma came round after nursery on Friday and, on reflection, I think they must have been in competition for owner of the shrillest voice.

Summer is coming  
Another whirlwind of a week has disappeared, although this one has been been made special by the rosy glow of warm weather.

Moving on up  
Amy is crawling everywhere now – she's incredibly cute but with her increased mobility we have to be very careful she doesn't eat coal from the fireplace, scratch the CDs, or do a roly poly over the doorstep.
